About this archive

Purpose

A family-maintained digital archive to preserve and teach the life, Liberation War role, career, books and historical documents of M Abul Kasem (Kashem).

Historical policy

• The family's account is the basis; absence online has not removed anything.
• No dates, ranks, operations or quotations are invented.
• Unclear text is never filled in by guesswork.
• Evidence, transcription, translation and editorial comment are kept separate.
• All new writing is published only after the family approves it.

Copyright and rights

Scanned government records, testimonials and photographs are shown as historical documents. Before full text of any book is published here the licence will be confirmed. If a rights holder objects, the item will be removed.
