Name: M Abul Kasem (Kashem). Father: Md. Aziz Bakhsh. Mother: Mosammat Anihar Begum. Village Kamalapur, post office Ziarakhi, Kushtia Sadar upazila, Kushtia district. Visible in document (pages 9, 13, 14)

3. Employment before the Liberation War
before the war he worked at an institution referred to as “Ganga-Kapotakkho”. The institution's exact official name, his title and dates remain to be confirmed.

5. Post-war administrative career
He served in the BCS (Administration) cadre and was Additional Divisional Commissioner, Khulna at retirement. His letterhead (pages 1, 2) and the memorial plaque (page 15) carry these designations Visible in document. Posts, places and dates are still to be collected from the family.
A 2001 letter (page 8) entrusts him, as “Kushtia District BLF chief”, with an impartial review of the final verification of freedom fighters of Kushtia Visible in document.
6. Hajj and personal values
he performed Hajj before 2000. The plaque uses the title “Alhaj” (page 15). According to his will he declined a Guard of Honour after death.
7. Final years and death
Died 12 March 2023 (page 15). On 5 September 2022 the “Bir Muktijoddha Shahid Khorshed Alam Dilu Smriti Sangsad” honoured him with a memento at Kamalapur (pages 18, 19) Visible in document.
